Details
Old Tokoname | Japan | Unglazed | Oval | Warm Tan
An old Tokoname oval in warm tan clay, deep-walled at 7 inches with a smooth, hand-finished surface that has mellowed beautifully. The base carries a faint kiln stamp and the honest wear of a pot that has held trees for decades.
Deep, large, and quietly handsome — the kind of workhorse vintage pot that suits a big pine, a cascade in training, or any tree that needs room to run. Old Tokoname clay of this quality is increasingly hard to source.
Size: 25 x 19 x 7 inches
