Details
π 17.75" diameter x 7" H | Rosewood | Made in Japan
A generous round stand with real movement in it. The top is a recessed round panel inside a rolled rim. Four broad, swelling legs curve down and out into scrolled feet, and a flat ring stretcher ties them together just above the floor. Deep red-brown wood with strong figure in the grain.
Sized for a round or drum pot on a medium bonsai, a broad-canopy shohin centerpiece, or a large suiseki in a round suiban.
Condition: Solid, no wobble. Visible rub and fine scratches in the finish on the center of the top panel, and a small nick on the front edge of the top rim. No cracks or loose legs.
Lot BD99-071 (Stand #1003). One of a kind. Also offered in the Bonsai Den 99 Cent auction on Facebook.
