Details
π 30" L x 18.5" W x 4.75" H | Rosewood | Made in Japan
A large, low show table with a refined, quiet line. The top is a framed, recessed panel of richly figured rosewood with a crisp mitered frame. Below, each side opens into a long cusped window with a gently stepped stretcher, and the legs finish in small upturned feet. Polished to a deep glow, it adds formality without stealing attention from the tree.
The 30" x 18.5" top gives room for a large bonsai in a show or tokonoma display, a wide forest or group planting, or a substantial suiseki.
Condition: Show quality. Top panel and frame are clean with a deep polish. Underside shows light age wear: small finish chips and old glue at a few stretcher joints, and light scuffs on the feet, none visible in display. Felt pads on all four feet.
Lot BD99-079 (Stand #6). One of a kind. Also offered in the Bonsai Den 99 Cent auction on Facebook.
