Details
Japan | Glazed | Oval | 4½" L × 3¾" W × ½" Deep | Signed + Chop
A very shallow oval in soft sea-green celadon with a full crackle (kannyu) network over the whole body. A thin iron-brown edge on the rim frames the glaze. Some darker iron spotting on one side adds depth. It sits on four cut feet, with two drainage holes. The bottom carries an incised signature and a square chop.
At just half an inch deep, it's an accent or mame pot. Suits a kusamono, a moss planting, a tiny forest, or a mame maple.
Lot BD99-003. One of a kind. Also offered in the Bonsai Den 99 Cent auction on Facebook.
