Details
Reiho | Japan | Glazed | Oval | Cream
A large, shallow Reiho oval finished in a smooth cream glaze over the kiln's warm red clay, which glows through at the interior. The form is wide and level with a refined, thin wall for its size, and the base is finished with segment feet and Reiho's small stamped chop.
Cream is the most forgiving color in bonsai — it flatters maples in fall color, azaleas in bloom, and dark conifers equally. A 25-inch Reiho in this condition is a genuine find.
