Details
Syunzan | Japan | Glazed | Rectangle | 4" L × 3¾" W × 1¾" H
A glazed rectangle from Syunzan in a deep, glossy navy that reads almost black until the light hits it. The coarse, gritty clay shows on the base, and the pot stands on sharp step-cut feet with flared walls and a strong lip. One large central drainage hole with four wire holes.
A dark glaze makes color pop. Try it with a deciduous tree in fall color, or a white-flowering shohin like a hawthorn or cotoneaster.
📏 4" L × 3¾" W × 1¾" H
Lot BD99-014. One of a kind. Also offered in the Bonsai Den 99 Cent auction on Facebook.
