Details
📏 6" tall | 4" x 4" top | Dark hardwood
A tall, slender stand built in the classic frame-and-panel style: a mitered rim frame around a floating inset top panel, four tapered legs that flare gently at the feet, and fine round stretchers at the top and base. It's light and airy, not chunky, so it lifts a planting without competing with it.
Made for a cascade or semi-cascade, a kusamono or accent planting, or a small suiseki. The 4x4 top comfortably holds a pot up to about 3½", and at 6" it gives real height to the tall element in a shohin display.
Condition: Solid and tight with no wobble. A dark water mark on the front rail of the top, light surface scratches on the panel, and wear at the foot ends, consistent with age.
Lot BD99-024. One of a kind. Also offered in the Bonsai Den 99 Cent auction on Facebook.
